← How do I book a session?

Two of my favorite things: photography and traveling.

I'm based in the DMV but am definitely open to traveling! I often visit schools in the area (Virginia Tech, University of Virginia, James Madison University, University of Maryland, Georgetown, GW, etc). I've also photographed moments in places from Italy to Japan – let's make it happen! Send me a message, and we'll talk.

← WHERE ARE YOU BASED AND DO YOU TRAVEL?

My specialty is portraits, but I offer all sorts of photography! In the past, I've photographed grads/seniors, headshots, families, maternity, couples, proposals, engagements, food, products, elopements, and weddings.

← WHAT TYPES OF SESSIONS DO YOU OFFER?

If our chosen location allows pets, you can absolutely bring them! I just ask that you let me know in advance, so we can plan.

If you do bring a pet, I would highly recommend bringing an extra person to help take care of them in case you want any photos without them or they need a quick little break.

← CAN I BRING MY PET(S)?

Just like an artist wouldn't sell an unfinished painting and a fashion designer wouldn't sell a piece before everything is sewn in, I do not release any unedited photos. All of my packages come with a certain number of hand-edited digital photos.

My clients hire me for my style and edits, and the RAW files would definitely not look like any of the photos on my website. It's okay if you like a different style! There are plenty of photographers out there that do a beautiful job – select your photographer based on the images you see in their portfolio. If you like what you see here, I may be a good fit!

← DO YOU SEND THE UNEDITED PHOTOS?

This depends on the type of session and time of year! My busiest season is spring to early summer (shoutout to all you grads and seniors), and my grad + senior clients usually book those spots as early as October of the year before. I sometimes have last-minute spots open up and have a waitlist, so don't hesitate to reach out.

For bigger events like elopements and weddings, I suggest inquiring about your date a year in advance to make sure you get on my calendar!

← WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?

Yes! I provide video as both an add-on and a separate service. Please let me know if you'd like to add this to your package when you inquire. 

Films can be added to any type of session over 45 minutes long. This is to ensure that we get all the photos and video clips we need!

← DO YOU PROVIDE VIDEO SERVICES AS WELL?

All the time! Group pricing depends on the number of people, so shoot me a message – prices per person usually range from $75 (short session for bigger groups of 10) to $225 (long session for two people).

You'll get both individual and group shots for a group session (unless you only want to do one or the other). A lot of my grads + seniors book both individual sessions for themselves and group sessions with their friends, and I offer discounts for this type of booking!

← Do you do group grad/senior sessions?

Yes! I do adventure elopements and destination weddings as well as local elopements and weddings. 

Packages depend on the hours of coverage and add-ons but start at $1,000 for smaller ceremonies + elopements and $2,900 for longer day coverage. Adventure elopements and destination weddings have custom pricing, so please reach out to me for that!

← DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ELOPEMENTS AND WEDDINGS?

Please refer to the photo counts under each package on my Investments page for full details. You will receive a certain number of edited digital photos based on your package, but you are always welcome to add additional images!

Extra photos are priced both individually and in bundles. Bundles are discounted, and you may upgrade to the full gallery as well (for a special price, of course).

← HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?

When we have our consultation, we'll go over what kind of location you're looking for. I've done sessions in every type of environment and have location suggestions based on my experience in the area!

I'll also do additional location scouting for you if you have something specific in mind. If you are completely open, you are welcome to browse my location guide after booking to pick a spot!

← WHERE SHOULD WE HAVE OUR SESSION?

First and foremost, I want you to be comfortable during your session. If requested, I'll create a custom style guide for you based on the location and season. This will contain outfit examples as well as a color palette. I always welcome outfit photos too, and I'm happy to give my input on what I think will look best!

One thing I always ask people to avoid is big patterns. They can be distracting, and we want you to be the focus in your photos! Please note that my outfit suggestions are always just that – suggestions. Feel free to swap out a skirt for pants or heels for sneakers!

← WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

While you'll receive an online gallery link with download access to print your own photos, you can also order prints through me. The Print Store on your online gallery has everything from canvases to cards!

I work with a professional printing lab to ensure you get the best quality photos. Even though it is cost-effective, printing photos at a store's photo center can be tricky.
